A major fire at a Cambodian casino complex has killed at least seven people and injured more than 30, news outlets reported.
The fire at the Grand Diamond City Casino in Poipet, on the border with Thailand, broke out just before midnight on Wednesday.
Photos showed people shining lights from windows and climbing onto ledges to escape the blazes while firefighters tried to control the blaze.
Media in Thailand reported that many of the injured were Thai employees and customers of the casino.
Thailand sent firefighters and helicopters to fight the blaze and evacuate the injured to hospitals across the border.
Thailand’s Secretary of State for Public Health, Dr. Grandpa Karnkawinpong said Thursday that 32 of the injured, 13 of them in critical condition, had been taken to Thai hospitals for treatment.
