Opening times of the Christmas markets 2022 (from November 14 to January 6, 2023)

These are the 2022 Christmas opening times at The Mall, starting next week.

CHRISTMAS 2022 SHOPPING HOURS – For the upcoming holidays, this will be the new shopping mall schedule in Metro Manila.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced new and adjusted shopping center opening hours in Metro Manila. This is in preparation for the upcoming holidays this year.

The adjusted shop opening hours will be introduced in all shopping centers and not only those along the EDSA. The adjustment was agreed by the MMDA and shopping center owners and operators.

A consultation meeting was held at MMDA New Building in Pasig City and the hours of operation of the new operations center are 11am to 11pm. This begins on November 14, 2022 and ends on January 6, 2023.

According to a report by PEP, alongside the mall’s new schedule, acting MMDA chairman Romando Artes added: “Sales throughout the mall are only allowed on weekends. Also, delivery is only from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Deliveries of perishable goods, breakfast restaurants and groceries are exempt from the regulation.

Shopping center operators must submit their traffic management plans including the dates of their sales and promotional events two weeks before the planned events.

The MMDA will issue a memorandum directing malls in Metro Manila to adjust operating hours to 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. from November 14 to January 6. Depending on the traffic situation, it could be lifted earlier.
