(Eagle News) – “Rosal” has entered a low pressure area.
According to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration, the center of the depression has been previously estimated at 1,020 km east of Extreme Northern Luzon.
It’s moving southwest at 10 km/h.
PAGASA said the LPA is too remote to directly affect weather conditions in the country.
However, under the influence of the northeast monsoon swell, a sea gale warning is in effect over the coasts of northern Luzon and the east coast of central Luzon.
Moderate to rough seas are also expected over the eastern coasts of southern Luzon and Visayas.
“This post-tropical low is expected to dissipate within 24 hours due to the unfavorable conditions caused by the northeast monsoon storm,” PAGASA said.
